We acknowledge that Jesus Christ is calling us to love one another
and to serve God's Kingdom in the world as one Church.

We rejoice that for more than four decades
our understanding and co-operation have grown,
and we undertake, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit,
to work and worship together in ways that build up our common life,
while yet respecting the official discipline of each church.

We therefore

To work together for the realisation of the unity of Christ's people
in this area of Coventry.

We commit ourselves, for the glory of God and his Church, to:

resulting in concerted action and service to the community;

It also involves the goodwill and support of local and regional church authorities,
who affirm that future appointments will be made in the spirit of this Covenant.
